| HGV prices steady despite the ‘Credit Crunch’ |
The prices of Trucks at auction are steady in 2009, as confidence appears to be returning to the heavy goods vehicle market. During Q4 of 2008 there was a significant drop in prices as the credit crunch began to bite, however demand has now returned and prices are reflecting this.

| The domestic market is strengthening with greater demand for Trucks of all sizes from 7.5 to 44 tonnes. This is helping to make up the short fall in the Eastern European sales, which have been adversely effected by the poor exchange rate against the Euro. |
Exports are growing in other areas with Africa being one of the emerging markets, which has helped maintain the level of return on Trucks at auction. Whilst the cost of purchasing your HGV may not have been reduced you can save money on HGV insurance with massive savings on your Truck Insurance policy with iQuote Insurance during May. |
